The New Analysis of Discrete Element Method Using ARM Processor

Abstract The discrete element method (DEM) is widely used to predict the motion over time of many particles, such as molecules or soil particles. computational demands for DEM simulations are significant. Therefore, improved performance could address a spectrum scientific and engineering applications. This paper proposes an accelerated implementation using Advanced Reduced Instruction Set Computing Machine. in this research compare results ARM versus x86 analysis. case study refers investigation conducted by V. Ćmilauer YADE programming. showed that microprocessor was capable Furthermore, because arm stands alone system, it runs both Ubuntu Windows operating systems without affecting each other’s capabilities. Finally, will focus on processing future works.
